Our needs - updated February 2012:
1. We are currently building a small wooden house on Noom's family's property in the village. This is for our family as well as for teams to stay when they come and serve in the village. This house is being built in faith that God will provide as we build. It is hard to know for sure exactly how much but we have estimated that we need around 100,000 baht ($AU 3,500) to finish building. If you would like to have a part in this project, please contact us.
2. House/land in the city for the YWAM Ubon base. We can buy a land and build on it for around 900,000 baht (around $AU 32,000) or we can buy the land we are living on now, with the house, for 2 million baht (around $AU 72,000).
3. Tuition fees for the DTS students. Many of them come from poor families and have come to study DTS in faith that God will provide the fees. We have also opened the door for them to come and study in faith that God will provide, as each of their school fees are necessary to run the school (eg. meals, accomodation, electricity/water, transport, outreach fees etc.)
4. Teams to come for 2+ weeks who are focused on English teaching, prayer, sports ministry and/or evangelism through the Performing Arts.
